Grew up in Norway & studied Psychology at the University of Oslo. She has a background in musical theater, dance and music, and a variety of experience working with kids and youth. When moving from Norway to New York years ago Ragz was inspired to work with youth and the arts - and she quickly gained interest in urban contemporary dance. She is currently a PhD student at The New School for Social Research where the focus of her dissertation explores the efficacy of mentoring and dance programs.
Grew up in Ghana & studied Philosophy, Politics & Economics at Trinity College. Michael is a Strategist and Chess instructor at PS 264 Bay Ridge Elementary. Michael & Ragnhild are both alums of the New School where he earned a Masters in Conflict and Security. Michael is a life long student and occasional teacher.

As Events Coordinator, I love the expression on peoples face when I tell them what the Flex Dance Program is and what we do. They are always shocked and excited to learn more. Its great pride knowing the difference we make in the lives of students who’ve felt they had nobody to turn to and no means for creative self - expression until we pulled up and switched it up for them.
Jermaine Flizzo Clement
Flizzo has been dancing for 20 years. He was inspired by the dance style brukup in the film Night Writer. Flizzo is the Vice President of Battlefest, the premier tournament for street - dancing. Flizzo is the main character in the documentary movie: “Flex is Kings” (Tribeca Film Festival). He has worked side by side with great artists like Fab, Missy, and Nikki Minaj. Flizzo is the co-founder and one of the Head Instructors with the Flex Program.
Ransford Jeezy Odoi
Jeezy started dancing when he was about 8 years old. He is a self-taught dancer but his biggest inspiration was his good friend Kemar. Jeezy has performed in legendary street - dance competitions like Battlefest, L.o.u.d (league of unreal dancing), Hunger for Battle (Norway), and D.R.E.A.M. Jeezy is the co-founder and one of the Head Instructors with the Flex Program
Haseem Bivins
Ozzie is the founder of “Strictly Street” a dance program for youth and adults in Westchester. He moves to express essence - and convey pathos of a story while maintaining a balance of musicality, strength, grace, and control. Haseem has been performing on the stage and on the street in underground dance competitions for 10 years and he says nothing makes him feel more alive. Haseem is a teaching artist.
